Maternity Guide

We aim to offer clients a hassle-free experience during our sessions by providing a timeless look. It's important for our clients to plan ahead, and we're here to provide some helpful tips and tricks that can make a big difference.

Makeup

We would like to remind you to hydrate yourself a few days before your makeup session to achieve radiant and glowing skin. We kindly request that you arrive with a clean face, and we will take care of preparing your skin for the makeup application. Our team will provide you with a suitable moisturizer for your skin and lips, along with lashes and other necessary products. Please rest assured that we use only professional-grade products to ensure a flawless finish.

We suggest that clients who arrive with makeup, whether they apply it themselves or get it done by another artist, select a look that complements the styles they have selected.

As professionals, our top advice is for you to ensure that you are completely happy with your final look, regardless of which option you choose. Thus, please do not hesitate to communicate any dislikes or desired adjustments to your artist. It is preferable to achieve a flawless makeup look in person rather than relying on editing to fix any issues.

Hairstyling

While some may underestimate the value of hair, it's actually quite crucial. We strive to create beach waves or natural styles that complement any outfit, so it's essential to arrive with dry hair, preferably washed 1-2 days prior to your appointment. If needed, we offer hair extensions that closely match your natural hair. For those with oily hair, there's no need to worry. We always keep dry shampoo in stock!

If you arrive with your hair already styled, there is not much we can do to make further adjustments as our appointments are scheduled according to each session. Kindly ensure that any necessary touch-ups are completed prior to your arrival at the studio. During your dress fitting appointment, we will provide you with helpful suggestions on which options to choose.

Shaving

It's recommended to groom any visible body parts, such as legs, underarms, and private areas. It may be difficult to edit these particular areas if there is any remaining hair visible.

Nails

We kindly request that our clients arrive with clean nails or a recent manicure. Unfortunately, we are unable to fix any broken or chipped nails during the editing process. For those who are unaccustomed to wearing artificial nails, there is no need to spend a lot of money. We recommend using stick-on nails as they are affordable, simple to apply and remove, and come in a variety of styles.

Undergarments

When you come in for your session, we kindly request that you bring skin-tone undergarments that closely match your own complexion. If you plan on wearing a black dress, it's best to bring along black undergarments as well. For your comfort, we recommend wearing seamless thongs that are not too tight.

Shoes

Although shoes are optional, it is suggested to bring a pair to the session. However, in most cases, they will not be visible. If you do decide to bring a pair, we recommend nude or clear heels for versatility. Our priority is your comfort and convenience, so feel free to remove them during the appointment if needed.

Family outfits

At the dress fitting appointment, we'll discuss what attire would be appropriate for your significant other. For spouses, we recommend opting for neutral colors without any patterns. If your spouse has a suit in their closet, that would be a great choice. Otherwise, a button-up shirt in black or white is always a safe bet. Turtle-neck shirts are also a great alternative. If you need dresses for your daughters, we offer several options that are available for rent at our studio.

Kindly ensure that all clothing items are properly ironed and hung on hangers. The studio provides facilities for changing outfits when the time comes.

Jewelry

Our clients have the option to wear jewelry, but for those who are not accustomed to it, it is advisable to stick to small pearls or studs.

When advising clients, I typically suggest bringing items in a large bag or suitcase and having multiple options available. This approach tends to be the most beneficial.

If the client prefers, they may bring additional items.

  • Deodorant

  • Jewelry

  • Shoes

  • Lotion

  • Extra undergarments

  • Unique clothing pieces
